I am Curtis Sluder, an Attorney practicing exclusively Traffic/Criminal Law in Western North Carolina. I have assisted thousands of motorists with traffic violations over the last 8 years, and saved drivers literally millions of dollars in potential insurance increases.  My staff and I will be glad to assist you with your traffic violation, and try to come up with the best method of handling your violation such that your license and insurance suffers the least possible change, if any at all.  I haver assisted drivers from all states, and even some foreign countries, and will work with you and your state as much as possible.  I am very familiar with NC traffic law, and have a great track record dealing with traffic tickets.

Many people do not realize that most states will share information about your driving history.  This means that even if you are licensed in another state, a citation here could affect your out of state license once it is reported.  Currently, 42 states are memebers of the National Drivers License Compact, and share driving history information.  If you are from outside NC, you may want to contact an attorney in your state to see how a ticket in NC can affect you in your home state.

What I can do for you:

For most traffic cases, I can appear in court for you, saving you from missing a day of work to stand in a long line and a crowded courtroom, unsure of how to handle your case.  In most cases, I can negotiate a lower speed, saving your license and insurance, enter a "no contest", or nolo contendre plea, ask the judge to continue judgment (PJC), which may be of particular help to some drivers, or make arrangments to get your charge modified to a lesser violation, which will help your license and/or insurance points.  We can usually handle most traffic cases from start to finish through negotiation, so you will not have to return to court at all.  And, in some cases, we may be able to get your case dismissed entirely provided you can send us the required documentation. 

In all cases, if we cannot help you,we will tell you whe you call.  We try to be available to you to answer your questions and calls promptly and courteously, and give you peace of mind regarding your charges.
